Log

I was on a dash to West Palm Beach, Florida.  Friends Ellen and Arjuna were there (though Ellen was home for Christmas with her family) and I wanted to spend my Christmas with someone I knew.

If I was able to do three big days in a row I would make it there on the night of Christmas Eve and then Arjuna and I could be each other’s Christmas buddies.   So Cocoa Beach was just the furthest anchorage that I could make it to around daylight hours.

The weather was still cold from the latest front.   So I used anything to stay warm up at the helm all day long, including trying to set new fashion trends.

It was a long day with a lot of podcasts and music to dance to (with the purpose of staying warm).

It was borderline dark when I dropped the anchor, made dinner and started to get ready for bed.   Only two more days of this Christmas rush south!
